KCR's Speeches Lacking In Conviction

KCR's Speeches Lacking In Conviction

At all his public meetings, half of KCR’s speeches are taken up with criticising Chandrababu Naidu and calling him names.

“Will you have your own person as CM or someone from Amaravati calling the shots?” is the question KCR is frequently posing to the audience. In fact, his speeches are nothing but a parody of the same rhetoric that he relied on in 2014.

Trusting in him, the people of Telangana gave him an absolute majority. Now, his work should speak for itself but ironically, Chandrababu who is contesting only 13 out of the 119 seats in Telangana has become the target of KCR.

Instead of speaking about the development programmes undertaken in the last four years and the benefits which may have accrued to the people, KCR attacking Naidu shows a lack of conviction in his government’s achievements these four years.

Old City in Hyderabad is a hell-hole with no basic amenities or law and order. Yet, KCR doesn’t utter a single word against MIM and neither does he disparage the BJP. It’s only Chandrababu who is his constant focus.

Will the people buy it, does the sentiment still prevail or will such gimmicks fail eventually?
