KCR promised us that he would join merge his Party with the Congress as there would be no further need for the TRS once it achieved its goal of a separate State, said Digvijay Singh. But unfortunately, KCR did not stick to his word, said Digvijay.
He further added, “KCR has however announced a committee led by Keshav Rao to look into the issue of an alliance with us. BUT Keshav Rao is yet to speak to us on the issue. Ultimately, it is their call on whether to have an alliance with us or not. On our side, the Antony Committee has been set up to look into all possible alliances and it will take the decision.”
Responding to another question, Digvijay said that Kiran Kumar Reedy had told him in the past that he was not going to start a Party.
When he was questioned on Pawan Kalyan from Chiranjeevi’s family and Jagan from YSR’s family setting up Parties, Digvijay said that the same was also the case with NTR’s family.
