KCR Confident, Chandrababu Shaky: Report

KCR Confident, Chandrababu Shaky: Report

With elections approaching, the entire system is gearing up for election time. Already, there are a lot of changes happening in the background and one can see political leaders and parties tilting towards one agenda or the other.

Coming to the two Telugu states, the situation is no different. However, according to an analysis by an English daily, while CM Telangana KCR is rather confident prior to election time, his counterpart in Andhra Pradesh Chandra Babu Naidu is on a shaky ground.

According to the story in Times of India, this is due to various developments in the recent past. Also, surprisingly, the newspaper has hinted that Babu's disadvantage will work in favour of YSRCP president YS Jagan in the coming elections.

The story says KCR is pretty confident about winning the elections second time around and that's the reason behind his proposing a 'third front' on the national level. In fact, he has also started parleys with various leaders from across the country to realize his new 'dream'.

On the other hand, Babu is in a precarious position says the story. Thanks to Jagan's agitation for SCS and growing resentment among people of Andhra over development, Babu will be treading a shaky ground, the story says.

Also, there has been a lot of pressure on Chandra Babu to withdraw support to NDA, based on SCS issue.

It is known that while central ministers Sujana Chowdary and Ashok Gajapathi Raju quit from union cabinet, BJP ministers also submitted their resignations from Babu's cabinet. The fight between TDP and BJP will work in favour of Jagan says the daily.

Incidentally, during the last general elections, the difference between TDP and YSRCP votes was a mere 2%.

Given a plethora of reasons, there is a strong likelihood of Jagan winning the forthcoming elections, hints the newspaper.

Obviously, this has become a huge cause of concern for the ruling TDP says the story.
