Though there were welcome and angry reactions from various chief ministers in the country over the ban of 500 and 1000 rupee notes by the Narendra Modi government, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has not so far made any comments openly either in favour or against the decision.
However, sources say KCR was terribly upset with Modi’s decision. And soon after the announcement made by the Prime Minister, KCR reportedly expressed his anger while interacting with some ministers close to him.
He is even understood have made some harsh comments against Modi, wondering whether the latter had any brains in making such sudden announcements.
And on Friday, when he met Governor E S L Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan, too, KCR made some strong comments against the Modi government.
He reportedly expressed view that the decision had hit the common people hard than the real black-money hoarders.
He even brought to the notice of the Governor, payments to workers in several projects like Mission Bhagiratha got affected due to currency ban and works had come to a grinding halt.
Well, his detractors say the main reason for KCR’s anguish was that the cash flow to his personal kitty was badly affected and that there was no way he could convert the cash lying with him into white.
