Lok Satta leader Jaya Prakash Narayan who has started making news once again is quite confident that Andhra Pradesh will not be given special status by the central government.
Since he moved very closely with BJP leaders to make sure that he wins the Malkajgiri MP seat, many are taking note of his comments.
Prior to the elections, he said that Andhra Pradesh lost out due to bifurcation. But after his return, there is a change in his stance.
He is blaming Chandra Babu Naidu and ex CM late YS Rajasekhara Reddy for separating the state. Also, he has been requesting people not to fall for Babu’s ploy and is warning them that AP will not be given any special status in near future.
He pointed out that Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odhisha and Rajasthan have been demanding special status and if AP is accorded the status, then it would give rise to many demonstrations and problems for the government.
Despite being aware of the situation, Babu was merely buying time from people by lying to them. In the past, JP would stay away from directly criticizing Chandra Babu. But now, looks like he has come back with a new agenda.
