AP Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy used 'Eenadu' newspaper in AP Legislative Assembly during the discussion on Call Money scam to attack and embarrass AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and TDP government.
There is a general impression among all that Eenadu owned by Ramoji Rao is the official gazette of TDP since decades right from N T Rama Rao regime to Chandrababu regime.
Late YSR waged a battle against Eenadu during his stint as Opposition leader and CM in Undivided AP for its biased reporting on Congress party and government.
However, his son Jagan used the same Eenadu to corner Chandrababu and TDP in the Assembly.
He brought the news clippings published in Eenadu against Call Money Sex scam and quoted them repeatedly in his speech.
When Jagan read out news headlines of Eenadu with month and date, the ruling TDP members remained mute spectators as they had no clue on how to respond on Eenadu which has been protecting the interests of TDP since long.
