Jagan To Operate From Amaravati From Jan

With elections to Andhra Pradesh assembly and Lok Sabha just less than four months away, YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will soon move his base from Hyderabad to Amaravati completely with effect from January second week.

According to party sources, Jagan, who is expected to complete his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, the marathon padayatra culminating at a public meeting at Ichapuram between January 6 and 10, will straightaway launch his party office-cum-residence coming up at Tadepalli abutting Krishna river, falling under Amaravati capital region.

“The sprawling office-cum-residence of Jagan is nearing completion and only final touches are being made. After a formal inauguration in the second week of January, he will shift his base from Lotus Pond in Hyderabad completely and operate from the Tadepalli house,” party sources said.

Once Jagan shifts his base to Amaravati, it will be a big relief to the party functionaries who have been facing a lot of difficulties in meeting him all these days.

Moreover, Jagan is also facing criticism of operating from Lotus Pond without daring to face the difficulties in Amaravati.

The Capital region is now abuzz with the construction of the offices of the TDP, the YSRCP and the Jana Sena Party.

The TDP has already begun construction of a massive office at Chinakakani on the national highway. The Congress and the BJP have their State offices in Vijayawada.

Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan is also constructing his party-cum-residence building at Kaza near Guntur.
