In a decision nothing short of horrifying, the Chandrababu Naidu government said it would waive off the loans of only those farmers who have an 'Aadhar card'.
When the Supreme Court’ itself has declared that ‘Aadhar’ is not mandatory for availing of essential services like LPG etc., how can Chandrababu make it mandatory or a pre-requisite for loan waiver.
Did Chandrababu announce during the pre-poll campaign that he would waive off the loans of all farmers or only of those with ‘Aadhar’?
The new filtering process is scheduled to begin on Monday. THIS IS CLEARLY ONE OF THE BIGGEST FRAUDS PERPETRATED ON THE POOR FARMERS.
