TDP senior leader and MLC Rajendra Prasad was frequently seen on television hitting out at YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. But despite his best efforts, he failed to get the Assembly ticket from Penamuluru reportedly because he did not have the money required to win.
However, the TDP appeased him later by making him the MLC. However, he happened to find himself in the camp opposite to Devineni Uma and therefore he was given short shrift.
With Uma calling all the shots in Krishna district, Rajendra Prasad is not being taken seriously. Therefore, the veteran is now spending his major time with MPTC’s and Sarpanches of his constituency.
He has obviously decided to strengthen himself from the grassroots level once again and this means being away from the media on which he was such a regular.
