KCR was once the bête-noire of the media, threatening to bury them deep in the ground if they spoke out against his administration or Telangana.
But times have changed, and the man is now affable towards them as he is secure finally in managing to retain overall control over the state.
He has asked the journalists in the state to choose some suitable land for themselves where they would be allotted housing sites.
Naturally, the journalists in the state are very happy. But even Andhra-based journalists residing in Hyderabad are making a beeline to be included in the list of beneficiaries.
To them, KCR said, “But you people are from Andhra. Why do you want sites here? Should you not ask Chandrababu for housing sites?”
To this the journalists replied, “We may be from Andhra but Telangana or Hyderabad is our home. Also, CBN is a friend only of the corporates and not for middle-class people like us when it comes to such matters. Kindly include us as well in the list of beneficiaries.”
Well, as one can see, CBN has quite a reputation for being a master at media-management. KCR seems like upsurging him even on that count.
