One thing about Vijay winning is putting a pause to all caste politics in Tamil Nadu. As vijay does not have a majority I hope he will not get support from small caste based parties with one seat here and there !

First of all, when Pawan started the party things were in a mess due to failure of Praja Rajyam party. He has to gain public confidence again.
But recent elections in TN politics there is a vaccumn due to the death of jayalaitha and AIADMK dont have proper leader. Vijay took this to his advantage!

People didn;t take Pwan seriously in 2019, more over YCP successfully projected him as B team of TDP. So people buried both the parties as they have decided to give one chance to Jagan.
In 2024, Pawn;s mania can be seen in elections, his strike rate was 100%. If his party contested alone, he might have scored more seats, but he has not taken any risk to defeat Jagan by aligning with TDP and BJP. There are no such compulsions for Vijay, He himself surprised with the results. Tamil people wanted to get rid of Dravidian parties. If BJP contested alone in TN, it might get more seats, as there is some sort of Hindu consolidation also.
