Having campaigned together for the success of the TDP-BJP combine in the recent elections, it isn’t any strange that it is these very two, Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan who continue to remain silent on the ‘cash-for-vote’ scandal.
Chandrababu is only expressing anger at the audacity of the TRS in tapping his phone. But he has remained tight lipped on Revanth Reddy’s involvement, neither condemning him nor giving him a clean chit in the episode.
One option would have been to suspend Revanth Reddy until the whole matter is cleared up. But Babu has not referred to Revanth Reddy at all.
Then we have Pawan Kalyan who asked people to vote for the TDP-BJP and has a political outfit of his own. Since, he campaigned for the TDP, is it not mandatory on his part to come out with his opinion on the whole episode? If he stays mum on such an important issue, then what is the point in starting a political party?
