Butta says she won't quit Jagan party!

YSR Congress party MP from Kurnool Butta Renuka, who created flutters in the party circles by meeting Telugu Desam Party general secretary Nara Lokesh a couple of days ago, has asserted that she has no plans or intentions to quit the party at all.

Renuka, who was visibly disturbed over the reports that Jagan had expressed anger at her at the parliamentary party meeting, said she would like to continue in the YSR Congress party and would contest the next elections, too, on the same party ticket.

“The reports that Jagan has pulled me up for meeting Lokesh are not true,” she said.

The Kurnool MP clarified that she had met Lokesh only to discuss the developmental issues of Kurnool.

“As such, there is nothing more to it. I don’t have any plans to change the party now,” she said.

However, Jagan is said to be still angry with Renuka for meeting Lokesh, as he thinks it would send wrong signals to the party cadre. He reminded that she had met TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu also in the past.

“If Renuka wants to go to the TDP, she can go,” he is said to have commented.
