The Bharatiya Janata Party is learnt to have decided to pay the Telugu Desam Party in its own coin with regard to controversy over central assistance to Andhra Pradesh in the last three and a half years.
The BJP state leaders are going to hold a crucial meeting in Visakhapatnam on Saturday to decide on the stand it should take with regard to alliance with the TDP.
Since the attitude of the TDP appears to be breaking the alliance with the saffron party, the latter has decided to go aggressive against the ruling party in the assembly during the forthcoming budget session.
The BJP has four MLAs in the assembly and two of them are ministers in the Naidu cabinet. And in legislative council, it has two members.
So, the two BJP MLAs and MLCs would continue to stall the assembly proceedings demanding that the Naidu government disclose the details of expenditure of funds released by the Centre till now under various schemes.
The BJP members would also question the TDP government on the corruption involved in Polavaram and Amaravati projects and seek an explanation.
Since the YSR Congress party is boycotting the assembly, the BJP would take the role of the opposition to embarrass the TDP government.
It remains to be seen how the two BJP ministers in Naidu cabinet would react on the latest stand to be taken by the party in the assembly.
