BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao on Friday blamed TDP chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the delay in completion of the Polavaram Project.
He told the media persons that the TDP government had used the Polavaram project as money-machine.
He wondered why Chandrababu Naidu took up the Polavaram Project though the Central government had to construct the project.
He also blamed the TDP chief for not completing any irrigation project in the Rayalaseema region where he comes from.
The BJP MP also blamed the TDP chief for not completing any project in the Uttarandhra region.
He said that Naidu who was the chief minister for 14 years could not do anything for Andhra Pradesh except claiming everything.
The BJP MP poohpoohed the TDP chief’s claims of coming to power in the state.
Narasimha Rao said that the TDP chapter is over and there is no scope of the party coming to power or Chandrababu Naidu becoming the chief minister anymore.
