Nandamuri Balakrishna opines that his party should continue alliance with BJP till the year end.
He reportedly informed this to his brother-in-law, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu when the latter asked Balayya’s opinion.
Thanks to the issue of Special Status to AP, there is growing discontent among people and legislators and that has put Naidu under stress, especially since elections are around the corner.
While many of his party people want him to severe all ties with NDA, Balayya's opinion has surprised all.
Though he is an MLA, Balakrishna is not known for being politically savvy. However, Balayya doesn’t want any problems from center at this moment.
Perhaps, he might be fearing that if Babu cuts ties with BJP, their family will have to face some problems from the center in the form of cases.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna says he will launch the biopic of NTR on March 29 in Hyderabad. He has invited Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu to grace the event.
Earlier Balayya thought of inviting Prime Minister Narendra, but he has dropped the idea as relations between TDP and BJP hit rock bottom and PM may not even grant appointment to him at this moment.
