A senior politician from a national party is said to be behind the murder of Y S Vivekananda Reddy, as claimed by the prime accused-turned-approver, Dastagiri.
It is alleged that the politician is financing Dastagiri's activities and even influencing the CBI's investigation.
What's interesting is that the government has given a mining contract to this politician, who is purportedly using the profits from it to tighten the screws around Jagan Mohan Reddy's neck.
In other words, Jagan Mohan Reddy's own government is indirectly funding his opponents to create problems for him.
Apart from this politician, there are officials in Jagan's administration who leak sensitive information to opposition leaders, leading to wrong directions being given to Jagan Mohan Reddy.
There are also some leaders from the YSR Congress who indirectly aid the opposition in attacking Jagan Mohan Reddy and his government.
It raises the question of whether Jagan Mohan Reddy is aware of these clandestine figures and their hidden motives that endanger his position.
Jagan once likened his opponents to Mareecha in Ramayana, who is invisible. These invisible enemies are all around Jagan Mohan Reddy and aiding the opposition.
It's high time that Jagan Mohan Reddy looks under his carpet to clear the dust or else there could be more Dastagiris emerging from different issues.
