Finally, ex-MLA and Minister Manugunta Mahidhar Reddy from Kandukur, Prakasam district has announced his decision to join the YSRCP on the 11th of this month.
For quite some time, Mahidhar Reddy had been flirting with the YSRCP but not made his decision clear.
YS Jagan then asked Vijay Sai Reddy to speak to Mahidhar Reddy and ascertain once and for all whether he was willing to climb on board the YSRCP ship or not.
Realising that YS Jagan was waiting for a response, Mahidhar made up his mind to join the Party.
Even Jagan was keen on having Mahidhar in his team as the latter has a reputation for being a people-centric politician. But what is amusing to see is the way the yellow media reported this news.
They said Mahidhar Reddy was joining the YSRCP as his efforts to join the TDP were unsuccessful.
Has the TDP ever turned down a single politician from joining its ranks?
In fact, it is purchasing MLAs from the Opposition and making them Ministers which shows that it is a Party without morals.
Where then does the question arise of Mahidhar Reddy being turned down? This is just another case of the TDP trying to convert a major defeat into a victory through their media.
