'Yellow' to disappear from APSRTC buses!

'Yellow' to disappear from APSRTC buses!

Anything that is “yellow” is not taken kindly by the YSR Congress party government led by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy – be it yellow shirts donned by the Telugu Desam Party workers or the yellow media, supporting the TDP.

Soon after coming to power, the Jagan government has done away with all the “yellow” schemes, removed the yellow ration cards and the Anna canteens painted with yellow.

All the government buildings in the rural areas were painted with blue, white and green colours, in tune with the YSRC flag colours.

Now, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Corporation (APSRTC) also has decided to do away with yellow colour on its buses to the rural areas. Hereafter, all the “Palle Velugu” buses carrying passengers to the villages, would not have yellow colour.

Instructions have been issued to change the yellow colour on Palle Velugu buses to dark brown. Instructions have been issued to all bus depot authorities from the APSRTC headquarters in Hyderabad.

At present, there are different colours for Palle Velugu buses – green, white, yellow and black. Of them, the APSRTC management has decided to remove the yellow colour and repaint the buses with dark brown.

So, there should not be any trace of colour that reminds the people of the state about the TDP!
