One can understand the anger of the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders over the attack by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi workers on the residence of BJP MP from Nizamabad Dharmapuri Arvind over his alleged derogatory comments against TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha.
But surprisingly, Telangana governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan reacted strongly over the attack on the BJP MP’s residence by the TRS workers.
Tamilisai asked the Director General of Police to submit a detailed report on the incident of attacking and vandalizing the house of Nizamabad MP. She expressed concern at the attack by the TRS workers.
Stating that there is no place for violence in democracy, the Governor said threatening and scaring of the family members and the domestic help at the MP’s residence is highly condemnable. She sought the report from the DGP on a priority basis.
Interestingly, Tamilisai did not respond in a similar manner, when the BJP members tried to storm the house of Kavitha a few weeks ago for her comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Perhaps, the Govenor is displaying her true colours of the BJP so openly for the first time. Maybe, she got the instructions from the Delhi bosses to that effect!
