Vijayamma Leaves Son To Be With Daughter

As being debated, YSR Congress honorary president Y S Vijayamma announced her resignation from the honorary president post of the YSR Congress.

She made this announcement at the end of her speech at the two-day plenary of the party on Friday.

She said that her decision was to avoid conflict of political interest as she is the honorary president of YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh and YSRTP in Telangana.

“I have left my son in your hands in 2011. You have been with him and made him the chief minister. He will become the chief minister in the next election too. I have that confidence,” she said.

She said that she had no worry about the son now who is in the safe hands of the people of Andhra Pradesh.

However, she said that her daughter, Sharmila was fighting a lone battle in Telangana State. She felt the need to be with the daughter and had thus decided to be in Telangana.

She said that the critics of the YSR family have been spreading hate against the family but the people are with the family.

“I never anticipated that Sharmila would have to launch a party in Telangana. But, I believe that whatever happens, it is the wish of the God. I take things like this,” Vijayamma said.
