Till Last Minute, They Tried To Stop Elections

State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar is still on the mode of criticising the state government, particularly the chief minister and the ruling party leaders.

He is addressing media in every district these days as part of his districts tour, where he is making at least one provocative statement, targeting the ruling party.

He made unwarranted statement in Kadapa, where he said he is still a witness in the CBI cases and would give his witness in future too.

He went one step ahead and claimed that the CBI would provide special security for him as witness to the controversial case, as if he had threats.

In Nellore he said he is not biased to any political party.

Hours later in Ongole, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar said that “they tried to stop the elections till the last minute.”

However, he did not name anyone who tried to stop the election, leaving people to guess and the ruling party leadership to react.

Surprisingly, he had a word of praise for the government in Ongole, where he said that the corona cases have come down considerably in the state, due to the initiative of the government.

Now, it is to be seen what the ruling party leaders say to Nimmagadda’s statement in Ongole.
