The TDP youth have all praise for the young leader Nara Lokesh, who had won the battle against the state government on SSC and Intermediate public examinations.
Most of the youth, in their early 20s, find their future leader in Lokesh, particularly after the state government deciding to postpone the intermediate examinations.
The state government which was initially firm on holding the SSC and Intermediate public examinations dropped its decision on Inter exams following the high court’s advice to consider postponement due to increasing covid cases.
Earlier, Lokesh had launched a virtual battle against the state government on the issue and had even held two rounds of virtual conferences with the students and parents.
Lokesh mounted greater pressure on the government through intensive media campaign, which coincided with the high court observation.
The youth, a majority of them, who have not seen the TDP in Opposition, were initially upset with the party’s political position and its future.
However, the success of Lokesh now seems to have created some confidence on his leadership, more than the leadership of AP president K Atchannaidu.
Most of these young leaders believe that Lokesh should take over the party and lead it keeping the elders like Atchanniadu aside.
But, the big question is, will Lokesh be able to match the politics of Jagan Mohan Reddy, as the fact remains that his father Chandrababu Naidu could not match!
