A major political scandal is unfolding in Andhra Pradesh as a dedicated grassroots activist of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has come forward with explosive allegations of massive financial fraud.
The worker claims she was cheated out of ₹7 crore by a prominent party figure under the false promise of securing an election ticket.
The accused, Sathish Vemana, is a well-known leader in the TDP's influential NRI (Non-Resident Indian) wing.
The complainant, identified as Sudha Madhavi from the Koduru constituency, alleging the senior NRI leader's actions led her family into financial ruin and fearing for their safety.
Allegations: From Dedication to Destitution
Madhavi emphasized her deep loyalty to the TDP, citing her participation in a 53-day hunger strike during party president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s time in jail and her extensive campaigning for the party's agenda.
According to her statement, Sathish Vemana, who has been actively involved in TDP's NRI campaigns, approached her, asserting close access to the party's top brass, including Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Bhuvaneswari.
Convinced by his assurance of a party ticket, Madhavi stated her family liquidated their ancestral assets, including property and land, and incurred substantial debt to pay him a total of ₹7 crore.
"We are now on the road," she stated starkly, confirming the family has lost everything.
Claims of Extortion, Threats, and Evidence
When the family began demanding the money's return, Madhavi alleges that Sathish and his associates resorted to threats. She further claimed the leader boasted about his police connections, causing the family to live in fear.
The evidence cited in the video to support her claim includes:
* Video evidence purportedly showing a cash handover totaling ₹2.5 crore.
* Proof of bank transfer for an additional ₹50 lakh, allegedly used as a down payment for land purchased by Sathish.
* Screenshots of conversational exchanges between the involved parties.
Appeal to TDP High Command
Sudha Madhavi issued a fervent plea to the TDP leadership—N. Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh—to urgently intervene, launch an internal investigation, and secure the return of her funds.
She highlighted her husband's deteriorating health, which she attributes to the immense stress of the situation.
