RK drops his protest logo after meeting Shah

Andhra Jyothi chief Vemuri Radha Krishna had dropped his protest logo from his paper and the channel after meeting Union Home Minister Amit Sha on October 6.

The last day that Radha Krishna printed his style of protest logo was on the same day in the morning paper.

Radha Krishna raised a banner of revolt against the State government even after the defeat of the TDP and continued his campaign against chief minister Jaganmohan Reddy and his government.

He prompted protests with his own journalists across the State and gave prominent coverage for the same as if it was a protest by all journalists.

He carried the round logo printed on the paper news and his channel screen counting the number of days of ban on the ABN Channel.

The last count was on October 6, counting it as 23rd day of the ban.

The drop of the protest logo from the paper and the TV screen indicates that Shah had given him mouthful and not consulted him on state politics as claimed by the ABN Andhra Jyothi group.

If Amit Shah wants to have first-hand account of the State politics, he has many leaders or political experts to feed him with the information. He also has senior intelligence officers to give him the required information.

Radha Krishna is also not the head of a major media group, not even on par with Eenadu group, for the Union Home Minister to meet him and take his feedback.

Whatever the reason behind Radha Krishna’s meeting with Amit Shah, it is clear that the Andhra Jyothi group had dropped its protests sign from the paper and the TV screen.

Now, he is not counting the number of days that his channel is blocked in the State.
