Raghurama Raju on Mission Complaint in Delhi!

Rebel YSR Congress party MP from Narasapuram K Raghurama Krishnam Raju, who has been on bail in connection with the sedition case filed by the Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID), has launched a counter-attack on the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

Having moved to Delhi soon after being discharged from the Army Hospital in Secunderabad, Raju has begun running from pillar to post with representations making wild allegations against the Jagan government and the Andhra CID police.

On Monday, Raju met National Human Rights Commission chairman P C Pant and submitted a representation to him, alleging that the CID police had used third-degree methods against him during their custody. He alleged that the CID police had violated the human rights.

While assuring to take up investigation into the complaint, the NHRC chairman said he had already served notices on Andhra Pradesh director general of police Gautam Sawang and principal secretary (home), based on a representation given by Raju’s son Bharat.

Raju explained in detail the developments after his arrest by the CID. The commission chairman said he had asked them to send a report to the commission after due inquiry.

On Sunday, Raju also met Union home minister Rajnath Singh and alleged that there was a conspiracy to hand him over to the CID police.

He sought action against Army Hospital registrar K P Reddy, who allegedly colluded with Guntur (urban) SP Ammi Reddy and TTD additional executive officer Dharma Reddy in getting him discharged from the hospital.
