Quarantined Son Could Not Have Last Sight of Mother

A son who was quarantined in Ongole of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh could not have the last sight of his mother, whose last rights were performed on Monday morning.

The son, who returned from US and was kept in home quarantine under the supervision of the officials.

Though he was not tested positive for the corona virus, the officials have restricted his movement to a bedroom in the house.

His mother who has bee unwell and was treated in Hyderabad breathed her lost on Saturday and was shifted to the home town in Ongole on Sunday evening.

As the officials did not allow him to see his mother in his own apartment, the boy had to watch the last rights through a video call.

His father, a former president of Ongole Dairy performed the last rights in the presence of limited guests present for the ceremony.

The son also opted to stay in the room keeping in view the danger of the virus for which the residents of the apartment thanked him.
