NTR Won't Belong To TDP Only, Says Kodali Nani

Former minister Kodali Nani is a vocal leader and a staunch critic of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, had made yet another controversial comments the other day.

There was tension in Gundivada area with some unidentified persons painting the pedestal of NTR statue in green and blue, the colours of the ruling YSR Congress.

The TDP leaders rushed to the spot at Bommaluru near Gudivada and re-painted the pedestal in yellow.

The TDP leaders also accused Kodali Nani of doing such mischief for cheap political mileage.

However, Kodali Nani responded sharply to the TDP’s criticism and wondered that NTR did not belong to the TDP.

He recalled that Chandrababu Naidu had submitted an affidavit in the court and a report to the Election Commission stating that NTR don’t belong to the TDP.

He further said that Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP leaders threw away NTR’s photo from the TDP offices in the state till NTR died.

“Today, NTR belonged to everyone in the state, not just the TDP. Chandrababu Naidu and his party leaders are claiming the legacy of NTR now only for votes,” Kodali Nani said.

Kodali Nani also brought out how Chandrababu Naidu ousted NTR from power in 1995 and was responsible for his death.
