State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar said that he was not biased to any political party. Neither he had any liking for any political party.
Nimmagadda made this statement during his review meeting with the officials on Gram Panchayat elections in Nellore district on Thursday.
Nimmagadda said that he had started his IAS career as trainee collector in Nellore and added that politicians in Nellore speak truth.
He went on to say that he had been honest all through his service and never favoured any political party or aligned with any party.
As SEC, my role is limited. “My boundary is too small. I never went beyond my boundary,” Nimmagadda said while addressing the officials.
He further said he treats all political parties equally, as SEC and is committed to successfully complete the election process.
Nimmagadda further said that he was retiring on March 31, 2021 and all that the state administration can gift him is peaceful and successful completion of elections.
