Jagan sets agenda, Naidu follows it!

Former Union minister Killi Krupa Rani began her entry into the YSR Congress party with a bang on Thursday by launching a tirade against Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

She told the media soon after joining the YSRC in the presence of party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in Hyderabad that it would be the end of the road for Naidu in another two months, when the assembly elections are held.

“The YSRC is going to come to power with a thumping majority,” she said.

Killi said Jagan would always set the agenda and think ahead of times, while Naidu had nothing to showcase but would simply follow Jagan’s agenda by copying his schemes.

“It is not Naidu, but Jagan who is a visionary, as he thinks of well ahead of others. The TDP president and others will simply follow his thought,” she said.

She reminded that it was Jagan who had first kicked up the agitation for Special Category Status and taken the fight from village to the national capital, even as the TDP was sitting in the cosy comfort of coalition with two ministers in the cabinet.

“After the break-up with the BJP, Naidu started singing Jagan’s tune at the top of his voice,” she said.

She alleged that Naidu had still kept his doors open for an alliance with the BJP, if the situation demanded.

“He is sitting on the fence to jump to either side after  2019 elections,” she said.

Killi pooh-poohed Naidu’s slew of welfare schemes to woo the voters.

“The meagre amount being disbursed by Naidu before elections will not work in the coming days as people are well versed with the tactics and the victory of YSRC is a foregone conclusion,” she said.
