Jagan begins to show his mark!

Within hours of taking oath as the second chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday afternoon, YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy began showing his mark on the administration.

In the very step, Jagan sacked the top bureaucrats working in the Chief Minister’s Office including senior IAS officers Satish Chandra, Sai Prasad, Girija Shankar and Adusumulli Rajamouli, who were playing a very key role during the Chandrababu Naidu regime.

Orders to this effect were issued by Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam soon after the swearing-in ceremony.

At the same time, he issued orders bringing K Dhananjay Reddy as additional secretary in the CMO.

Dhananjaya Reddy had been working as managing director with the AP Tourism Development Corporation and is said to be a close a friend of the YSR family.

During the regime of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, he worked as director of the Indira Gandhi Centre for Advanced Research in Live Stock at Pulivendula.

In fact, Dhananjay Reddy had been looking after Jagan’s official activity for the last one week and his appointment as additional secretary was formalized after the latter took oath on Thursday.

Retired chief secretary Ajeya Kallam is expected to be appointed as principal secretary and will head the CMO.
