Fact Sheet: Finally, Jagan Made Ramoji As A1

The government of Andhra Pradesh, led by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, has accused media baron Cherukuri Ramoji Rao of financial fraud, naming him as Accused 1 in the case.

While late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy had previously accused Ramoji Rao of such fraud, Jagan Mohan Reddy has now provided evidence to support the charges.

Ramoji Rao, now in his late 80s, should have avoided being implicated in the Margadarsi Chit Funds Private Limited activities.

Ramoji Rao is accused of diverting funds collected from people through the chits and establishing his own financial empire.

Despite being called out by Rajasekhar Reddy, Ramoji Rao continued to bully the YS family and target Jagan Mohan Reddy. This has led to a witch-hunt against him, with Ramoji Rao spreading lies on a daily basis through his publication Eenadu.

Given his position of power, Jagan Mohan Reddy cannot be expected to remain silent and tolerate Ramoji Rao's attacks.

While the exposure of Ramoji Rao's fraudulent activities by Rajasekhar Reddy and Vundavalli Arun Kumar was just the beginning, the exposure of Jagan Mohan Reddy represents an extreme.

The officials of the stamps and registration department are framing charges in such a way that Ramoji Rao cannot escape arrest or exposure as a cheat or financial fraud in the public eye.

Despite having seen those who surrendered to him because of his media power, Ramoji Rao has yet to see Jagan Mohan Reddy.

It is high time that Ramoji Rao stops displaying media arrogance or faces arrest at his advanced age.
