DKS-Naidu informal chat triggers rumours!

An impromptu meeting between Karnataka Congress Committee president and deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar with Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Bengaluru airport triggered instant rumours in political circles.

Naidu landed in Bengaluru airport on Thursday morning for a stop-over to interact with the TDP cadre in Karnataka on his way to Kuppam.

Around the same time, Shivakumar was boarding another flight to go to Nagpur to attend the Congress meeting on the occasion of party foundation day.

As both the flights were adjacent to each other, Shivakumar instantly noticed Naidu getting down from the flight and went to him to exchange pleasantries. Naidu also smiled at the Karnataka Congress leader and both shook hands.

What triggered rumours was that Shivakumar held Naidu’s hands and took him aside and both of them spoke to each other personally for a couple of minutes before they dispersed. The video of their interaction went viral within no time.

The social media wing of YSR Congress party did not lose much time in spreading the rumours that Naidu would be joining the I.N.D.I.A soon and both of them held talks to this effect.

The I-PAC team members immediately sent alerts to all the media persons, saying the TDP is seeking to join the INDIA, despite the fact that it has allied with Jana Sena Party led by Pawan Kalyan, who is still an NDA partner.

The I-PAC also raised a question saying whether this meeting between Naidu and Shivakumar will bring an end to TDP-JSP alliance in Andhra Pradesh.

But that is all politics is about!
