Can Raju Withstand Unlimited Legal Actions?

Can Raju Withstand Unlimited Legal Actions?

Narsapuram MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju may be confident of getting bail in all the cases filed or all the sections booked against him on Friday.

But the fact is that there are more than a dozen cases booked against him across the state, more of them coming from the West Godavari district.

There are also cases booked against him under SC, ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 by a handful of people, not to say the activists of the YSR Congress.

If the MP uses his influence or his advocates give their best argument and the courts grant him bail, it is for sure that the police would arrest him in another case.

The question is in how many cases the MP and his supporters can use influence? In how many cases, the powers that be help, if at all they come to his rescue?

The State government seems to have decided to keep Raju in jail for some time, as the defiant MP had crossed all his limits in criticising the state government, the party leadership and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The language that he had been using and the gestures that he had been putting through his daily video talks, is beyond the limit of any acceptability, by any standards.

Hurling abuses at one caste, heckling the caste, abusing people of the ruling party, calling people by caste and all other his below the belt acts have gone beyond the limit of turning deaf ears and blind eye.

It is a fact that Raju is being used by a section of the media to fight against Jagan Mohan Reddy. It was for this reason the media had been entertaining him and certainly not because he has any stuff or worth speaking.

Ultimately, it is to be seen how many days he would be in the jail and how he would be after coming out of these cases!

Will he be the same defiant Raju limiting himself to the business of an MP or a changed leader minding his own business?
