A 23-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh tragically passed away in the United States on Thursday night after falling ill.
The deceased, Yarlagadda Rajyalakshmi, daughter of Ramakrishna and Nagamani, was a native of Karamchedu in Bapatla district.
After completing her engineering degree at a private college in Vijayawada, Rajyalakshmi had moved to the US to pursue a Master’s in Computer Science.
Having recently finished her MS, she was actively looking for job opportunities.
According to reports, she had been suffering from a severe cold and had informed her family about her condition on Thursday night, mentioning that she had scheduled a doctor’s appointment for November 9. Sadly, she passed away later that night.
Her family members were devastated upon hearing the news of her untimely demise.
Parchur MLA Yeluri Sambasiva Rao expressed his condolences and assured the family that the state government would extend all possible assistance to bring her body back to India for the final rites.
