Ambati complains to ED, IT officials against Pawan?

Apparently agitated over the spoof on him depicted in the latest Pawan Kalyan-starrer Telugu film “Bro,” YSR Congress party leader and Andhra Pradesh irrigation minister Ambati Rambabu is understood to have lodged a complaint with central investigation agencies against the power star.

Ambati who went to New Delhi on Thursday to meet Union Jal Sakthi minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and other officials of the department to discuss the Polavaram issue, also took up the issue of the damage to his character done by the Jana Sena Party president in his latest film.

The minister held discussions with YSRC parliamentary party leader V Vijay Sai Reddy and other party MPs on Pawan Kalyan issue.

With their help, he lodged a complaint with the Enforcement Directorate and also the Income Tax department authorities against the actor.

Ambati had alleged that “Bro” movie was a big scam and the money the Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and company had collected in the US was paid as part of package to Pawan Kalyan.

He complained to the ED authorities that the film was made with hawala money. He also told the IT authorities about the huge black money being collected by Pawan Kalyan towards the remuneration for his films.

“Pawan had openly claimed that he would take Rs 2 crore per day for his films. But he is not disclosing how much remuneration he had taken for the film “Bro.” He takes certain amount officially and much more money unofficially, just as he officially married thrice, but unofficially many,” Ambati told reporters in Delhi.

Asked whether he had lodged a complaint with the central agencies, Ambati parried the question saying he cannot disclose certain things openly.

He wondered why TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu was reacting when he made comments against Pawan Kalyan.
