Producer Bandla Ganesh has an interesting theory about how things happen in the Telugu film industry. Our superstars don’t give a damn about bonding with a producer or director, he said.
Bandla Ganesh, who produced blockbusters such as ‘Gabbar Singh’, is not interacting with heroes much these days.
“Why should I have to pamper them? What would I get from it?” he questions when asked about his equations with the stars.
“Currently I am not producing any films. If I do, I will approach them. They don’t give a damn whether I maintained good relations with them or not. If I approach them with a ‘blockbuster’ script and a director who is in great form, they agree to it without a blink,” he reasoned.
The heroes would even work with headstrong people or anybody if the said person is giving hits.
“If they have to work with a person they don’t like much, they will close their eyes for three or four months, and move on. For them, success matters only,” Bandla said.
Bandla also mentioned that money and the right combination matter in the industry.
