Actor-turned-politician and TVK chief C Joseph Vijay has declared assets worth over ₹520 crore while filing his nomination for the Perambur Assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu.
According to his election affidavit, Vijay owns movable assets worth around ₹405 crore and immovable assets worth about ₹115 crore.
His movable assets include bank balances, luxury vehicles, gold, and diamonds, while the immovable assets include properties located in Neelankarai, Sholinganallur, and Saligramam.
The affidavit also mentions that Vijay’s annual income in recent years ranged from ₹8 crore to ₹237 crore.
It further states that he has also extended loans to family members.
With this declaration, Vijay has once again drawn attention not just as a star campaigner, but also as one of the wealthiest faces in Tamil Nadu politics.
