At the pre-release event of Kingdom, actor Vijay Deverakonda shared a few candid thoughts about the changing state of cinema and his connection with the audience.
“I honestly don’t understand which films are working anymore. Nothing seems clear these days,” he said, acknowledging the unpredictability of the industry.
He added addressing the audience, “I was introduced to you all through cinema, and I’ve always given my full effort to the films I’ve worked on.”
Vijay also expressed a personal commitment, stating, “As long as I have the strength, I’ll continue to try and contribute something positive.”
His remarks were simple, introspective, and focused more on the journey than the stardom.
Kingdom, which marks his upcoming release, is scheduled to hit theatres on 31st July. Advance bookings are already in progress and seeing strong early interest.
