While the web series garnered considerable attention and gained popularity among the younger audience, it faced a negative reaction from the average Telugu viewer. Families, in particular, criticized Venkatesh for the use of unfiltered expletives.
Responding to a question about the second season of "Rana Naidu" at a song launch event for “Saindhav” at a college, Venkatesh mentioned that it is set to commence next year and will feature "family-friendly" content.
"It will not have extremely explicit content, a little restrained, a little moderate," he added.
