The direct digital release of feature films is here to stay as more and more films are selling their rights to OTT firms.
Even though the recent feature films like Amitabh’s “Gulabo Sitabo” (Hindi), Jyothika’s “Ponmagal Vandhal” (Tamil) and RGV’s “Climax” have not posted big numbers, the OTT euphoria is still high.
This weekend, we will be witnessing Keerthy Suresh acted the latest thriller “Penguin” on Prime Video and then Satya Dev starrer “47 Days” will also set to stream on Zee5 on 30th of this month.
Along with “47 Days”, Satya Dev starrer “Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya” will also be skipping theatrical window to have a direct digital release.
The Telugu streaming app “Aha” has also lined up another premiere of a Telugu movie titled “Bhanumathi Ramakrishna”.
Swara Bhaskar starrer Hindi drama “Rashabhari” and a Kannada thriller “Law” will also stream this month.
