The collections are steady throughout the weekend and the real mettle will be known for the beginning of week days.
On a whole this film won the battle at the box office in the first weekend.
2. Vikram: This film starring Kamal Haasan appealed to the young audience in good way.
Many say that this is flavored on par with that of KGF in terms of heavy dose action sequences.
Kamal Hasan's agility is being discussed in big way and the patronage is quite good in almost all the centers.
The real test for this film is from Monday onwards which happens to be the turning point for any successful film.
3. F3: The collections are steady as the summer holidays are at the fag end. The family audience patronized this film in a better way when compared to many of the recent releases.
The colorful star cast and the comedy genre pulled the audiences to theaters in big way making this film sound big at the box office.
4. Sarkaru Vaari Paata: This film has seen commendable collections at the box office but the high price of tickets marred the prospects of the film to an extent.
This Mahesh Babu starrer in the direction of Parasuram entertained the audience but the houseful run was not recorded in many of the centers. Though the film slowly picked up, it couldn't do the wonder as expected.
Finally it ended up as an average grosser. The availability of this film on Pay per View model on home screen ended the theatrical run.
5. Samrat Pruthiviraj: Samrat Pruthiviraj is the historical film starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar that hit the screens on 3rd of June.
The film has heavy star cast right from Sanjay Dutt to Sonu Sood. The film couldnt pull the audience as expected.
This is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the maker and actor of the most popular TV Series 'Chanakya' on Doordarshan of1990s.
