Top 5: Big Disappointment And Surprise Winner

Top 5: Big Disappointment And Surprise Winner

1. Shaakuntalam: This film has turned out to be the most disappointing of the season, receiving a resounding thumbs down from the audience.

Despite Samantha's starring role, Gunasekhar's directorial effort failed to make any impact at the box office.

The film was unable to grab the attention of viewers during its opening and its subsequent reception was marred by negative reviews.

The fate of the movie in its dubbed versions is even more pitiable.

2. Vidudadala - Part 1: This season's standout film has impressed audiences and critics alike with its realistic approach and hard-hitting content.

While it portrays the darker side of the system and highlights how the police can trouble the innocent, the movie is being lauded as a meaningful venture.

The response has been positive, starting from the opening shows and continuing into subsequent screenings.

It remains to be seen how the film performs on weekdays at the box office. This is the surprise winner.

3. Rudhrudu: The film faced disappointment at the box office. It tells the story of Rudhrudu, whose life is turned upside down when a powerful criminal network involving a businessman named Bhoomi rises to power.

Rudhrudu sets out to expose this network but unfortunately, the response to the movie has been lackluster.

The opening numbers were also lackluster and the subsequent negative reviews completely ruined the prospects of the film.

4. Ravanasura: After Ravi Teja's triumphant run with Dhamaka and Waltair Verayya, there was a lot of buzz surrounding the movie.

Nevertheless, although the trailer received a positive reception, the movie failed to charm the audience due to the protagonist's portrayal in an unsympathetic light and a deficiency of amusement value.

Even though the movie started strong, it rapidly lost its steam at the box office.

5. Dasara: While the film found success in the Naizam and Overseas region, it failed to sustain its performance in the Andhra and Ceded regions.

The response from audiences in North India and other language markets was also underwhelming.

Nani's endeavor to create a gritty and unpolished movie fell short due to its repetitive and hackneyed components.

Although not a complete failure, the film didn't achieve the expected outcome.
