Ram Gopal Varma's "Power Star" is understood as a 37 minute short film so far. But he said to a TV channel that he is going to make three more films in the series.
He took this decision after experiencing the overwhelming response to "Power Star" today on his rgvworldtheatre.com.
He said, "If I reveal the number of tickets sold for "Power Star" world wide, many may die of heart attack. So, with a concern for their health, I am not revealing".
"I am doing three more films in this series," he added.
Responding to this, a netizen wrote on social media, "RGV! We decide not to watch the next episode in this Power Star series. But you disturb our decision by releasing some tempting trailer or song. We watch again like sheep. I am writing this because I decided not to watch any of your films four years ago. But I watched all the controversial films you made from Vangaveeti to Power Star with many 'no more watching decisions' in between. I curse myself".
We have to wait and see what is in store in the second episode of the Power Star series.
