This Medal Is More Than An Oscar For Me: Sesh

This Medal Is More Than An Oscar For Me: Sesh

It’s a rare scenario that a film is screened few days prior to the actual theatrical release and that too in 10 different cities across the country.

We are talking about Adivi Sesh’s Major which was screened today in Vizag. The team addressed media and the patrons, after the screening.

Sesh turned emotional and he stated that he can never be Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan off screen, but he will remain to be the second son to Major’s parents.

“I would like to thank Mahesh Babu sir and Namrata madam; they are our biggest strength. Mahesh Babu sir gave us the confidence during covid that, this movie would only release in theatres. Sricharan Pakala elevated my scenes and gave my career best song Oh Isha and most heartful song Hrudayama. I would like to thank our Vizag girl Sobhita for doing a special role. Saiee Manjrekar wanted to dub her lines in Telugu. She dubbed for her role for 25 days.

We’ve shown this movie to many people. We are screening it in 10 cities in India. We screened it for NSG Commandos in Mumbai. 312 Commandos watched it. The black cat commandos were silent all through the screening. After that we got a call from group commander. We went to the office and they presented us with NSG black cat commandos’ medal. This is more than an Oscar award for me.

I made a mistake and I want to apologize to uncle and Amma, as we didn’t show the movie to them. We got final copy only today. We are going to Bangalore on 31st to do a tribute screening for family of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.”

Sesh also promised to give chance to at least one newcomer for his every movie.

Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Sashi Kiran Tikka and few other team members were present during the screening.
