The Raja Saab pre-release event took place recently, and many viewers are now underlining certain incidents and reading between the lines.
During Prabhas’ speech, as he was praising and acknowledging everyone who worked on the film, the moment came for him to praise the producer.
He began by saying looking at producer Vishwa Prasad, “What is your dare? Maruti kept on writing….. but you didn’t hesitate to spend…” At that point, Maruti gestured to him from behind.
Taking the cue, Prabhas stopped mid-sentence and said, “Well, we will speak about it later…” He skipped the topic, praised the producer in different words, and moved on.
However, the audience noticed and questioned why Maruti had to signal Prabhas from behind and alert him. Was there something fishy? Is everything fine between the producer and the director?
Viewers also observed that producer Vishwa Prasad did not appear completely happy, though he maintained composure for the sake of the event.
With Maruti stopping Prabhas in that moment, many are now speculating whether there are over-budget issues troubling the producer and whether this has caused differences between the producer and the director.
