Some time ago, Neha Shetty posted a picture on Instagram from Thailand while preparing for a shoot.
Though she didn’t mention the film’s name, it was widely speculated that she was shooting for OG, as Pawan Kalyan’s team was also in Bangkok at the time. Rumors suggested she had done a special number for the film.
However, the makers never confirmed it. To date, Neha Shetty hasn’t signed any other project after that shoot.
At a recent press meet, when asked whether the song featuring Neha Shetty would be added after the first weekend, director Sujeeth turned to producer Danayya to check if they had ever announced it.
Music director Thaman, who was also present, clarified that the song was neither announced nor planned for inclusion.
This makes it clear that while the song was indeed filmed, the makers have decided to drop it. Though Neha Shetty received her remuneration, her special number has gone unused.
The actress is yet to announce her next Telugu project.
