Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been eagerly awaiting the start of "Spirit" with Prabhas, but the project faced a nearly six-month delay at the actor’s request.
Prabhas had asked for additional time to recover from a knee injury and return to peak physical fitness before taking on the demanding role.
Now, with his health fully restored and fitness at its best, Prabhas is looking better than ever.
He has also resumed shooting for "The Raja Saab" and is currently wrapping up its final schedule.
According to sources, there will be no further delays for "Spirit." With "The Raja Saab" nearing completion, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is expected to begin production on "Spirit" in September.
In the film, Prabhas plays a powerful cop, while Triptii Dimri, riding high on national acclaim, makes her Telugu debut as the female lead.
