Skanda's New Date Puts Small Films in a Spot

Boyapati Srinu's "Skanda," starring Ram Pothineni, was originally scheduled to premiere in theaters on September 15.

However, the film's release date has been postponed to September 28. With "Salaar" no longer occupying the September slot, "Skanda" has taken its place.

Nevertheless, this rescheduling will have repercussions for other small films that had previously announced their release plans ahead of "Skanda."

Movies like "MAD" and "Rules Ranjann" have now slated September 28 as their new release date. The announcement for "MAD," an adult-oriented campus drama, was initially made by producer Naga Vamsi.

However, due to "Skanda" now debuting on the same day, this youthful drama must also be rescheduled.

The delay of one film has stirred considerable concern. We must now wait for another two days to hear about several films announcing their new release dates.
