Kotha Bangaru Lokam actress Shweta Basu Prasad, who tied the knot with Rohit Mittal in an intimate wedding ceremony on December 13 last year has decided to part ways.
The actress announced her shocking separation on her Instagram account just a few minutes back. Rohit and Shweta have mutually decided to split after months of contemplation.
The actress in her post thanked ex husband Rohit for the irreplaceable memories and for always inspiring her. She ended the note wishing him a great life ahead and also called herself his forever cheerleader.
Shweta and Rohit have decided to go separate ways just before their first anniversary. The couple had got married in Pune in 2018 in the presence of close family members and had later thrown a reception party for industry friends.
